Still waiting...

Yes, that's right (sigh) I'm still here and waiting (impatiently) for this baby to come. We've got 3 days until my due date and really really hoping to go into labor soon. I had a visit with my doctor last week and found out that since I'm going for a VBAC, I cannot be induced. Something that I didn't know about and kind of bums me out. That means if I do not go into labor by my 41st week, I'll have another c-section that I will not look forward to. Although-I did hear that if you opt for a cs without laboring, the recovery is much easier, a little reassuring, I guess.

So here I am waiting and watching the minutes go by. I did get my new Stampin' UP! Catalog today in the mail which brightened my day :) It is so beautiful...I cannot wait for you all to see it if you haven't yet. I'll be taking that to the hospital to memorize every page, I will guarantee that!

I made this little journal notebook this afternoon. It uses our new Ginger Blossom DS papers. Aren't they gorgeous?!! I just love the color combo. For the letter 'j' I actually printed a mirror image of a 'j' on my computer onto the backside of my ds paper and card stock and cut it out with my paper snips.

Thanks for stopping by...Enjoy your Christmas. I'll keep you posted about baby!!

Cricut Cartridge Variations

The other day Vera asked which Cricut cartridge I used on my scrapbook pages. Just wanted to let everyone know that it was the Plantin Schoolbook Font cartridge but I used the "Tall Ball" option, which I love.
So in this image I have shown all of the different options for the font on this particular cartridge. Hope this helps!!

My First Time

Remember a few weeks ago when I won the contest over at Papertrey? Well, I finally got my prizes (Snowflake Serenade, Spiral Blossom, Eat Cake-Thanks Nichole!!) and finally used one of the sets! I have to admit...this was the very first time I have used acrylic stamps! I know, I know...you're thinking: get with it, right? LOL!

I made this card for my parent's 37th anniversary which is today...Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!

Don't know if you can tell but each little snowflake in the background has little dots of glitter. I just love glittery snowflakes. And the snowflake in the scallop circle has dazzling diamonds all over it. I also used Lauren's Saturday Sketch from last week...such an easy layout!
