Simple Make-n-take

Here's a super simple make-n-take that I made last week for a party. It is a regular A2 size card, with a 3/4" strip of designer (berry Bliss) paper. I used a pop-up glue dot for the center of a 5 petal flower punched out of white card stock and dipped it in our new Cosmo Glitter (rose color, I think) and stamped "Happy Birthday" from Birthday Whimsey (SAB) in Purely Pomegranate. Can't get any easier than that!

I should clarify that I did not make the video in the previous post. It was just from a search from Youtube.

Have a great day!!

How to tie a bow-EASY!

I wanted to share this video with you. I always have a hard time making bows look good, but this looks so simple...I think even I could do it!

Another mini card

This was a simple make-n-take I designed for a party last week using the new SAB So Many Scallops set.
I colored the image with Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Markers. I used Bali Breeze designer paper on Taken with Teal card stock and tied it up with the Pomegranate ribbon.

Have a great day!

SAB mini card

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I've been living as a single mom the last couple days as my husband was in San Diego for work, but came home this morning at 3:30! I'm so glad he's back. We missed him so much! I made a chocolate V-day cake for him and Cassidy drew him some pictures which he loved. We're going to keep pretty quiet around here tonight as we have some bad winter weather. We'll probably go out this weekend sometime.

This simple little card measures 4x4. I used some designer paper from the Special Delivery (girl) SS Kit on this one. And I used the yellow flowered ribbon from the Fairy Tales Ribbon Originals.
For the moon, I partially punched a circle with my 3/4" circle punch, then punched the whole circle to create the half moon shape.

Recipe:
Paper: Groovy Guava, Apricot Appeal, River Rock, WW, DSP (Special Delivery Girl)
Ink: Groovy Guava
Accessories: 3/4" circle punch, scallop circle punch, flowered ribbon from fairy tale ribbon originals, dimensionals

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's day. Give that someone special a big hug and remind them of how much you love them!

More Crew Kids (Girl)

Hey there!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was great, other than for the super duper cold weather. We had -40 wind chills! and unfortunately we did have to get out and go a few places this weekend. I would rather have stayed home. But it's better today, not as windy.

Here's another page I made with the Crew Kids Girl Kit and I took inspiration from Kristina Werner's card Love her work!

Sorry for the glare on the pictures of my layout. I didn't realize there was any when I took the picture until I got it on the computer.

Supplies:
Crew Kids (girl) SS Kit, Wide pink grosgrain ribbon from Fairy Tales Ribbon originals.

Have a good evening everyone. I'll be back tomorrow!

Sweet Sisters

Well I didn't get as many projects done today as I planned, but I did make one card & this scrapbook page. But that's ok...at least I made something!

I got my layout inspiration from fiskars sketch of the month. Just switched up a bit.

I made my page title and quote in Word. I still feel like it's missing something...like under the title? I'll probably add a little journaling there. Otherwise I'm happy with it. It was an easy peasy page!

Recipe:
Stamps: Tagger's Dozen
Paper: textured Pomegranate, pretty in pink, basic black, ww
Ink: Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, Rhinestone brads, Heidi Swapp Ghost hearts, ribbon from sherbet originals, black grosgrain, pomegranate grosgrain, dimensionals.

Thanks for checking in! Have a good evening!

B-Happy in Pink

This layout might look familiar from my previous card made with this set...yes, I've got a creative block. But hey, I switched the colors! These colors (Pretty in pink, regal rose, and wild wasabi) are so springy! This is actually a swap card, so it's a bit of a sneak peek for the girls in my swap group. Hope they like!

Recipe:
Stamps: Just B
Paper: Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi, WW
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose
Accessories: Wild Wasabi ribbon, scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, slit punch, fine cosmo glitter (celery), dimensionals

I'm excited today because my mom is coming over tomorrow to watch the girls so I can get my hair cut and highlighted, and so I can have some quiet time to create some stamped goodness! I cannot wait! So you can be sure I'll be back later to show you what I've created!!!
